CMP was incorporated on October 30, 1951 by Carl Waldeck and Richard Bouck. The name Cardic came from combining the first 3 letters of the original owner’s names, Carl Waldeck (CAR) and Richard “Dick” Bouck (DIC).
Richard sold his shares to Carl in August of 1952, making Carl sole owner until December of 1995, when Ken Cooper and Martin Abrahamson took ownership of CMP. In January of 2003, Ken Cooper passed away leaving Martin Abrahamson as the sole owner of CMP.
January 1, 2011, the legacy of CMP continues with Joseph Trumpio at the helm as its new owner. Joe brings 35 years of extensive machining and management experience along with his passion and strong desire to see CMP remain in the market place for another 60 years.
Blount Entities, Capital Eleven and Lead Nickles enters into a joint partnership to bring Cardic into the next generation. Ethan Blount is appointed CEO and puts Cardic on the map.
